AFP: PH-AUS Exercise ALON//Combined Amphibious Assault Exercise

PH-AUS EXERCISE ALON | Philippine Navy personnel recently conducted a Combined Amphibious Assault exercise alongside the Australian Defence Force at Naval Station Leovigildo Gantioqui in Zambales on August 25.

As part of Exercise Alon 2023 within Australia's Indo-Pacific Endeavour (IPE23) program, the simulation was aimed to practice an amphibious operation to reclaim an enemy-captured island.
Troops and amphibious assault vehicles from the Philippine Marine Corps as well as the landing dock BRP Davao del Sur LD602 were featured during the activity.
