CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao – The combined elements of the 90th Infantry Battalion under the 601st Infantry Brigade and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (CIDG-BARMM) killed the top 6 most wanted of Maguindanao in a shootout yesterday, December 9, 2019 in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.

The slain suspect was identified as Ebrahim Mudzol Ali a.k.a. Dalupang who is wanted for his alleged involvement in carnapping incidents and series of killings in the province.

Dalupang resisted arrest and engaged the troops in a firefight when the arresting team was about to serve him warrants of arrest at Sitio Kiniputan, Barangay Poblacion Dalican of Datu Odin Sinsuat. This prompted the arresting team to fire back at the suspect resulting to his death.

Recovered from the scene was a loaded caliber .45 pistol, which was turned over to the Datu Odin Sinsuat Police Station.

The Commander of 6th Infantry Division and Joint Task Force Central, Maj. Gen. Diosdado C. Carreon, said that the JTFC will sustain its support to law enforcement operations with other government agencies against the criminals thriving in the area of operation.
