CAMP SIONGCO, Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao – One soldier was wounded in an IED explosion in Brgy. Dasawao, Shariff Saydona Mustapha, Maguindanao this early morning of November 15, 2019 while conducting security operations against the BIFF terror group.

Wounded in the explosion was Corporal Alexander D. Flauta of the 90th Infantry Battalion based in Datu Anggal Midtimbang, Maguindanao.

The wounded soldier was immediately brought to Camp Siongco Station Hospital for immediate medical treatment.

“Our relentless efforts to eradicate these terror groups will continue so that every peace loving individuals and communities in JTF Central AO will feel safe and secure and benefit from the results of our governments’ efforts towards progress here in Central Mindanao” said Joint Task Force Central Commander Maj. Gen. Diosdado C. Carreon.
