On November 9, 2019, the Islamic State (ISIS) published six photos showing fighters from the group's East Asia Province, the ISIS affiliate in the Philippines, swearing allegiance to the newly announced ISIS "caliph" Abu Ibrahim Al-Hashimi Al-Qurashi.
