In anticipation of future assets that will enhance its aviation and air defense capabilities, the Philippine Army has activated the Army Aviation Regiment and the Artillery Regiment’s 1st Land-Based Missile System Battery and 2nd Multiple Launch Rocket System Battery on October 3, 2019 at Fort Magsaysay in Nueva Ecija.
