13th RPSB received 71 new PNP scout graduates

Butuan City -- The 13th Regional Public Safety Battalion (13th RPSB) based in Camp Rafael C. Rodriguez, this city accepted 71 new graduates of the PNP Scout Class, Tuesday.
The reception did away with the traditional 30 kilometers endurance run which usually start at the Regional Special Training Unit (RSTU) Camp, based in Santiago, Agusan del Norte, but instead did a 10 kilometer run dubbed as the "13th RPSB Run" from the rotunda of Brgy. Ampayon and culminated at the parade grounds of Camp Rafael C. Rodriguez at 5:30 a.m. until 8:00 a.m.

The said run was participated in by officers and personnel from PRO 13 led by Caraga PNP director Chief Supt. Dominador E. Aquino, Jr. the 13th RPSB, Butuan City Police Office, City Mobile Group, Agusan del Norte PPO and PPSC, Regional Headquarters Support Group, Regional Health Service, K-9 Unit, R2 and the 71 new graduates of the PNP Scout Class CL-08-2014 "SILAB."

A short program followed where the new graduates were accepted as members of the 13th RPSB by the officers led by PSSupt. Joseph D. Plaza, the Battalion Commander.

CSupt. Aquino congratulated the new PNP Scouts for their success and admonished them to be responsible law enforcers and community leaders.
