From the Philippine News Agency (Sep 11): Rebels gun down suspected government informer

New People's Army (NPA) rebels gunned down a suspected military and police informer in front of his wife in Barangay Palale, Bulan, Sorsogon, at about 5 p.m., Tuesday, a police official based here said in report today.

Inspector Malou Calubaquid, Bicol regional police spokesperson, identified the victim as Ronald G. Golimlim, 44, a resident of the place.

Golimlim died on the way to the Pantaleon Gotladera Hospital in Bulan.

Calubaquid said Golilim was having a snack with his wife, Susana, at the veranda of their house when the teenage-looking suspects suddenly appeared behind him and shot him with their .45-caliber pistols at his head and body.
