PAF turns over 7 housing units to HFHP

From the Philippine News Agency (May 22): PAF turns over 7 housing units to HFHP

In line with its community development efforts, the Philippine Air Force turned over seven housing units to Habitat for Humanity Philippines (HFHP) Tuesday afternoon.

These houses are at Humanity, Bistekville 1, Payatas Road, Quezon City, PAF spokesperson Col. Miguel Ernesto Okol said Wednesday.

Each house has two floors and two rooms each.

Construction started last March 18 and ended mid-May.

Okol said this housing project was done with the assistance of the Quezon City local government, HFPHP, Department of Education, Pagibig Fund and school teacher groups in Quezon City.

Present during the turn-over ceremonies were PAF chief Lt. Gen. Lauro Catalino Cruz, 355th AEW wing commander Brig. Gen. Danilo Penafiel, HFHP managing director Charlie Ayco and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.

HFHP is a non-profit, Christian housing ministry that works make adequate housing available to everybody.
