From the Phlippine Navy Website (Nov 7): 62nd Marine Birthday Testimonial Parade and Review
In connection with their 62nd Birthday Celebration (November 07, 2012), the
Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) rendered a Testimonial Parade and Review yesterday
(November 6, 2012) at BNS Grandstand, Bonifacio Naval Station (BNS), Fort
Bonifacio, Tagiug City in honor of the Navy Chief, Vice Admiral Alexander P
Pama. The activity was attended by different unit commanders, foreign attaches,
officers, enlisted personnel and civilian employees of the Philippine Navy.
The testimonial parade is a reaffirmation of PMC’s ties with the
Philippine Navy, the mother unit of the Corps. “The exuberance and joy felt by
every marine, is so profound that it is deemed essential to honor and give due
respect to the institution that provides and allow the Philippine Marine Corps
to flourish”, Major General Rustico O Guerrero, the Commandant of PMC said....
