The 4th Infantry “Diamond” Division based here has a new commander who believes that what is good for the country is good for the army. Maj. Gen. Nestor A Añonuevo officially took over as division commander after two months when it was announced he was to replace now retired Maj. Gen. Victor Felix. Añonuevo is not new in the area since he was once assigned here at 4ID as senior officer as one of the division’s staff, Executive Officer of 401st Brigade, Commanding Officer of 26th Infantry Battalion, and Deputy Brigade Commander of 402nd Brigade. He took over the command from then acting division commander Brig. Gen. Romeo L Gapuz, who now acts as the assistant division commander. Army Chief Lt. Gen.
