Heroes run for fallen soldiers in Sulu, gathers hundreds of runners in Bicol

At least one thousand runners crowded the Legazpi Boulevard in Barangay Dapdap, Legazpi City for the 8th Heroes Run, Sunday, November 24.

The event, which featured four categories, 21K, 10K, 5K and 3K, fired off in front of Legazpi City Fire Station around 5 o’clock in the morning after a lively Zumba dance.

This year’s Heroes Run, the only nationwide charity run in celebration of Bonifacio Day, was conducted simultaneously in Taguig, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Baguio, Cebu, Tarlac, Cagayan De Oro, Catbalogan, Cotabato, Isabela, Bukidnon and Zamboanga Del Sur.
