SOLCOM: Capabilities of the CPP-NPA have been significantly weakened in Southern Luzon

SOLCOM, PNP, OUR LGUS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS HAVE SIGNIFICANTLY WEAKENED THE CAPABILITIES OF THE COMMUNISTS TERRORISTS NPA IN SOUTHERN LUZON.

Since the start of the year, we have neutralized some 272 NPA members, 136 firearms and had cleared almost fifty baranggays as a result of Implementing Plan "KAPAYAPAAN TIMOG LUZON".
What's interesting is that these results are mostly from our "non combat" efforts. These are CTs that return to the folds of law as a result of our engagement with different stakeholders, engaging in a whole of nation approach which offers economic assistance to rebel returnee as well as bringing into the mostly far-flung affected areas the government services. 

The Focus Military Operations also contributed in neutralizing high ranking members of the communists terrorists NPA.
