Politiko Mindanao (Jul 22, 2019): Armed men kill Grade 6 teacher inside classroom in Zamboanga del Sur
Two unidentified armed men shot dead a female public school teacher inside a classroom in Zamboanga del Sur, police said.
Police Regional Office (PRO) 9 said the shooting incident transpired inside Balongating National High School in Barangay Balongating, Guipos town at about 7:00 a.m. Monday, July 22.
The victim was identified as Narcisa Gumibao Caay, 58, married, a Grade 6 class adviser, and a resident of Barangay Balongating.
The two suspects, both wearing jacket and half mask helmet with sunglasses, appeared and went inside and shot the victim three times on her body using Caliber 45 which resulted to her instantaneous death.
After the incident, the suspects fled on board a single blue motorcycle Skygo.
The police were yet to determine the motive of the killing as pursuit operation against the suspects has been launched.
