MILAGROS, Masbate (DWDD) – Seven members and 44 militia/mass base supporters of the communist terrorist New People’s Army (NPA) operating in the island province of Masbate surrendered to the government.
The event was held in a simple presentation ceremony held at the Headquarters of 2nd Infantry “Second to None” Battalion, Barangay Bacolod, Milagros, Masbate on February 19.
Presented before Comprehensive Local Integration Program (CLIP) Committee, the former rebels and supporters were formally received and welcomed by the 9th Infantry “Spear” Division, Local Government Unit of Masbate, and partner agencies. 9DPAO/MCAG
