To ensure that all of its personnel will be given adequate medical care in case of injury or sickness, the Philippine Army (PA) has allocated the sum of PHP6,240,000 for the procurement of drugs and medicines for the use of the Army General Hospital (AGH) in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

The AGH has gone a long way in its development as it upgraded its service capability and enhanced the level of care extended to its patients.

The once 50-bed hospital now has a 250-bed capacity. Major renovation has also been done and new and upgraded medical equipment have been installed.

Among the newly-acquired medical equipment are electrical ICU beds, patient monitor, ventilator 3-in-1, serum electrolyte, ABG machine, defribillator (biphasic), infusion pump, and syringe pump.

The AGH is capable of performing diagnostic, surgical and treatment procedures to emergency cases, confined patients and ambulatory clients seeking consultative services of orthopedics, urology, opthalmology, ENT, physical medicine and neuro-psychiatry.
