CAMP GEN EMILIO AGUINALDO, Quezon City (DWDD) – A Turn-Over of Office will held tomorrow, Thursday, March 17, 2016 here at Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo in Quezon City.
Major General Oscar Lactao will be installed as the Inspector General of the Armed Forces of the Philippines replacing Major General Benito De Leon who is set to retire on Monday, March 21, 2016 upon reaching the mandatory retirement age of 56.
MGen Lactao is a member of Philippine Military Academy class of 1984 and is currently the Commander of the Army’s 4th Infantry Division based in Cagayan De Oro.
MGen Benjamin Madrigal, the Philippine Army’s Chief of Staff will be replacing MGen Lactao as commander of the 4ID. AES / MCAG
