NSFA, Panacan, Davao City – The AFP’s Eastern Mindanao Command under Maj. Gen. Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero welcomes the newly designated Deputy Commander in the person of Brig. Gen. Ronnie S. Evangelista at Headquarters Eastern Mindanao Command, Panacan, Davao City at 9:00 a.m., February 9, 2016. Brig. Gen. Evangelista was accorded with traditional arrival honor followed by information briefing about the peace and security situation in Eastern Mindanao.
After the briefing, Brig. Gen. Evangelista emphasized that he will support the plans and programs of Commander, EastMinCom. “I am here to help. Let us all work together to achieve a common goal, that is to win the peace in this part of the country’, BGen. Evangelista said
Brig. Gen. Evangelista is a member of PMA Class of 1986. Among the positions he held were: Commanding Officer of Light Reaction Battalion (LRB), Special Operations Command (SOCOM), Philippine Army; Commandant of Special Forces School, Special Forces Regiment Airborne (SFRA), SOCOM; Assistant Chief of Staff for Comptrollership, NCRCOM, AFP; Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, G3 SOCOM; and Commander SFRA, SOCOM.
