The 10th Infantry Division has promoted 1,641 of its
enlisted personnel to the next higher rank during simple ceremonies Monday.
Capt. Rhyan Batchar, 10th Infantry Division public affairs
office chief, on Tuesday said the traditional pinning of ranks of
newly-promoted enlisted personnel took place in Camp Gen. Manuel T. Yan Sr,
Barangay Tuboran, Mawab, Compostela
Valley Province .
"These soldiers definitely deserved their promotion.
This ceremony is a fitting reminder to them of the added responsibilities that
come with their new ranks. These newly promoted personnel hold vital roles in
our overall campaign,” 10th Infantry Division commander Major Gen. Rafael C.
Valencia said.
The 1,641 newly-promoted enlisted personnel are broken down
into the following; Master Sergeant - 22, Technical Sergeant - 45, Staff
Sergeant - 351, Sergeant - 590, Corporal - 633.
