Still unidentified lawless elements have abducted the lady
mayor of Naga town, Zamboanga Sibugay Monday night.
Reports said Naga mayor Gemma Adana was abducted at around 9
p.m.
Western Mindanao Command spokesperson Capt. Rowena Muyuela
said that they have already deployed the 17th Special Forces Company and the
Naval Special Operations Unit to help police pursue the abductors and recover Adana
"We have yet to determine the abductors' identities or
group affiliation," Muyuela said.
