A day before the 37th anniversary of the National Irrigation Administration in Midsayap, North Cotabato, a bomb exploded in its offices early Wednesday morning.
Residents of Barangay Villarica woke up to the explosion at about 5 a.m. today.
According to Midsayap police chief Supt. Reinante delos Santos, no one was killed or injured in the explosion.
The explosion came from one of two bombs placed in the government compound. The other bomb was found in front of the offices of the Commission on Audit in the same town.
Authorities still have not determined who left the bombs.
