From Ang Malaya (Mar 6): Bangsamoro Command of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in BBL

“The defense and security of the Bangsamoro shall be the responsibility of the Central Government. The Central Government may create a Bangsamoro Command of the Armed Forces of the Philippines for the Bangsamoro, which shall be organized, maintained, and utilized in accordance with national laws,” says in Article XI Section 15 of the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law.

It adds that the qualified people from the Bangsamoro shall be given preference for assignments in Bangsamoro Command of AFP.

The Chief Minister of Bangsamoro government may request from the President to call on the Armed Forces of the Philippines for some instances. To prevent or suppress lawless violence, invasion, or rebellion, when the public safety so requires, when the Bansamoro Police fails to suppress danger or breach of peace in the Bangsamoro.

Under Section 17 of the same Article, The Central Government and the Bangsamoro Government shall establish coordination protocols, which shall govern the movement of Armed Forces of the Philippines in the Bangsamoro.
