The schedule of the entrance examination of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) this year has been reset to August 3, 2014, instead of August 31, 2014 as announced earlier, a military official said on Tuesday.
Maj. Christian Uy, spokesperson of the army’s 4th Infantry Division, said that the rescheduling of the entrance examination would provide enough time to properly screen successful examinees who would undergo the complete physical examination.
He said that the applicant must see to it that all information in the PMA application form must be completed together with the attached NSO copy of the applicant’s birth certificate and high school form 137.
The documents should be submitted to the office of the cadet’s admission not later than July 25, 2014, Uy said.
He said that for online submission, applicants are required to submit the requirements in PDF format.
The PMA Entrance Examination aims to measure the mental ability of the applicant in the areas of Math (Algebra and Geometry), English (Grammar, Composition, and
Uy said that the applicant should make sure that the requirements are complete before proceeding to the designated examination centers.
Walk in applicants may be entertained to take the exam as long as there are sufficient examination booklets, he added.
