From the Philippine News Agency (Nov 12): Navy brings relief supplies to Masbate

The Philippine Navy (PN) on Tuesday announced that one of its gunboats, BRP Simeon Castro (PG-374), has delivered relief supplies to San Pascual town, Masbate, one of the areas battered by super typhoon "Yolanda" last Nov. 8.

Navy spokesperson, Lt. Cmdr. Gregory Fabic, said the ship was carrying 100 sacks of rice, 50 boxes of sardines, 69 boxes of noodles, and two boxes of medicines.

He added that BRP Simeon Castro arrived off San Pascual Pier in Burias Island, Masbate around 10:15 a.m. Monday.

Fabic said the goods were received by officials of San Pascual town.
