More than three hundred Indigenous Peoples, students, parents and community leaders in Glan, Sarangani and Lake Sebu, South Cotabato were oriented on the Government of the Philippines (GPH)-Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) Framework Agreement on the Bangsamoro (FAB) on December 10, 2012 aimed to let the people understand the said accord which is hoped to settle the conflict in Southern Philippines. The activity was also geared to provide the public information on the recent development on the peace process between the government and the Moro people.
The information drive which took place at Barangays Pangyan and Baliton in Glan was spearheaded by Kalinaw Sarangani Unit (KSU) in coordination with Sugoda Buayan Provincial Political Committee of the MILF.

Ayessa Tin, a staff of KSU, gave the highlights of FAB to almost 300 high school students, teachers, parents, barangay officials and community leaders at the gymnasium of Barangay Pangyan and Training Hall of Barangay Baliton, all in Glan. Osmena Salisipan, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial Political Committee, narrated the struggle of the Bangsamoro People and discussed the development prospects of the Bangsamoro Government that will replace the present Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao. In Lake Sebu, Prof. Raby Angkal which was sent by the Office of the MILF First Vice Chairman, gave the highlights and the bright hopes the FAB brings to Mindanao and the whole country in general. The FAB is a working document that will lead to the crafting of Bangsamoro Basic Law which will serve as the charter for the Moro people to exercise their own governance in a defined territory. It is hoped to give the Muslims in Mindanao “real autonomy.” The basic law will pass the congress for ratification.....
