Von Alhaq, spokesperson of the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF), the armed wing of the MILF, said Musanip Sulaiman, alias “Commander Adan” of the MILF’s 106th base command, died at the Tamundong Hospital in Isulan town, Sultan Kudarat.

Another member of the MILF old guard passes away. Interestingly, he was reportedly related to Andal Ampatuan Sr, former governor of Maguindanao who is currently in jail for allegedly ordering the killing of 58 civilians in the infamous Nov 23, 2009 Maguindanao massacre.
