Posted to Kalinaw News (Sep 26, 2020): 6th Infantry Division Commander attends turn-over of ‘PAMANA’ projects in Sultan Kudarat
To help farmers increase crop production and reduce post-harvest losses, the provincial government of Sultan Kudarat headed by Gov. Suharto Mangudadatu distributed various farming equipment through the Pamana program.
Likewise livelihood programs were given by the same national government agency through the Provincial government of Sultan Kudarat to the qualified beneficiaries in the province and the turn-over of certificates to the People’s Organizations.
“We believe that the only way to attain peace is through a progressive economic program. Nawala ang kaguluhan sa Sultan Kudarat, nawala ang nakawan at nawala ang buwis na kinukuha ng mga rebelde dahil sa suporta ng gobyerno sa mga mamamayan” Hon. Mangudadatu said in his message.
The program was attended by the Presidential Peace Adviser Sec. Carlito Galvez Jr.; Usec David Diciano, Chair GPH Implementing Panel and Head, Joint Normalization Division; Asec. Andres Aguinaldo Jr., Head, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Reconciliation and Unity; Dir. Cesar De Mesa, Head, PAMANA National Program Management Department, Dir. Darwin Wally Wee, Head of Communications and Public Affairs Department and LTC Francel Taborlupa, Head Executive Assistant; Hon. Jose Remus Segura, Vice Governor of Sultan Kudarat; Hon. Bai Princess Rihan Mangudadatu Sakaluran, Congresswoman 1st District of Sultan Kudarat; Hon. Bai Mariam Magudadatu, Provincial Governor of Maguindanao; Mr. Arlan Mangelen, Regional Executive Director of Department of Agriculture 12; Former Provincial Governor/Consultant of Sultan Kudarat Sultan Pax Mangudadatu. BARMM Executive Secretary Abdulraof ‘Sammy Almansor’ Macacua; Brigade Commander of 601st Brigade represented by Col. Joel Mamon, Deputy Brigade Commander and Head Secretariat of CCCH and AHJAG; Provincial Police Director P/Col. Noel Kinazo; MILF Commanders – Uztadz Wahid Tundok, Commander 118BC; Uztadz Zacaria Guma, Base Commander 105BC, Commander Haun Sindatok, Deputy Base Commander of 105BC, Sheik Mauti, Deputy Base Commander 118BC and Butch Malang of MILF CCH.
Also in attendance were the local chief executives of the different municipalities of Sultan Kudarat including the National Task Force (NTF) against COVID 19 Medical Adviser, Dr.Teodoro Herbosa.
PAMANA is a national government convergence program that extends development interventions to isolated, hard-to-reach and conflict-affected communities, ensuring that they are not left behind.
The event successfully ended with the message of support from the participants and stakeholders.
