MADRID, Surigao del Sur — Residents of Purok 1, Brgy San Antonio receives groceries and toys from the 36th Infantry Battalion afternoon of August 02.

Lieutenant Colonel Jezreel Diagmel, 36IB Commanding Officer, led the distribution of food packs to 40 beneficiaries as part of the celebration of their 46th Founding Anniversary.



Brgy San Antonio Councilor Alma G. Huerte and Pointy Provincial President Dan Mark Del Rosario were also present during the activity.

“Wala gud ko mag dahom nga ang ako gisakupan makadawag ug hinabang gikan sa mga kasundalohan sa 36th IB,” said Councilor Huerte.

[We are all thankful that the 36IB serves and provides assistance to the community].

Lt Col Diagmel said that every Valorian trooper is committed to serving the community.



“We, as a Filipino community, have a core responsibility to help one another specially in this time of pandemic,” he added.

“This is a proactive measure of the unit to support the community as the country battles with the COVID-19 pandemic,” Lt Col Diagmel ended.
