CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao – The chief of the Army’s 6th Infantry Division (ID) led Sunday the pinning of wounded personnel medals to 10 injured infantrymen inside this camp’s hospital.

“This is in recognition of their heroic acts by putting their lives in grave danger while pursuing terrorist groups during separate military operations conducted in Maguindanao,” said Major Gen. Diosdado Carreon, also chief of the Joint Task Force Central (JTFC).

A medal was awarded to Private First Class (Pfc) Abel G. Yabo of Charlie Company, 57th Infantry Battalion (IB), who was injured in a clash with armed terrorists on July 25 in Barangay Pandi, Datu Salibo, Maguindanao.
