Baler Aurora – The Province of Aurora is still under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) due to emerging COVID-19 infectious disease.
In connection with this, troops of Charlie Company of 91st Infantry (Sinagtala) Battalion, 7ID, Philippine Army led by 1LT CARLO T OMAYON (SC) PA under the supervision of LTC REANDREW P RUBIO INF (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer, 91IB, 7ID, PA provided four (4) days security and manpower assistance during the distribution of another wave of assistance intended to the four (4) coastal Barangays of San Luis, Aurora from 24 to 27 June 2020.
A total of 1, 554 households benefited from the said activity.
SB Members and some local officials of San Luis headed by Hon Mayor Ariel A De Jesus joined the activity together with the elements of Charlie Company, 91IB led by 1LT OMAYON.
LTC RUBIO commended the efforts of his men in assisting the LGU in the delivery of services to the less-fortunate constituents.
“Rest assured that the SINAGTALA troopers will continue to support the LGUs, NGAs, and other stakeholders in reaching out those far-flung communities to bring the government closer to the people and help them in this time of crisis,” RUBIO said.
Likewise, COL ANDREW D COSTELO INF (GSC) PA, Commander, 703rd Infantry Brigade, 7ID, PA lauded the troops for actively helping the LGUs and other stakeholders for the delivery of basic services.
