AFP-CRS: 21 ex-rebels receive livelihood starter kits from DTI

Posted to the Armed Forces of the Philippines-Civil Relations Service (AFP-CRS) Facebook Page (Jul 2, 2020): 21 ex-rebels receive livelihood starter kits from DTI

A total of 21 former rebels who voluntarily surrendered to authorities received livelihood starter kits from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

The move was in line with the government’s Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) to capacitate and support former rebels in going back to mainstream society and becoming productive citizens.

The giving of livelihood assistance with a total worth of PHP110,000 was facilitated by DTI-Aurora Provincial Director Edna Dizon.
