Kalinaw News: Weeping parents urge NPA to return son

Posted to Kalinaw News (May 20, 2020): Weeping parents urge NPA to return son (By 4th Infantry Division)

IMPASUGONG, BUKIDNON. May 20 – The parents of a newly and forcibly recruited member of the New Peoples Army (NPAs) are living a miserable life as their son was fooled into joining the struggling communist terrorist group last May 12, 2020 in Sitio San Roque, Brgy Sinanglanan, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. Nothing can compensate the pain felt by the parents after the NPAs took their son without their consent.

It can be recalled that 163 families fled from their homes last May 16, 2020 due to the unwanted presence of NPAs in the area. During the interview, @Mag, the 40 year old mother, revealed that her son, 23 years old, was fooled by the NPAs with their so-called “free education”. Her son served as the NPA’s courier until he was not allowed to go back home.

(To the NPAs who took my son, I’m begging you, please return my son. He has no future with you. He has big dreams not only for himself but also for our family. My son, please come back home, we are waiting for you.)

(I extend my deepest sympathy to what happened to the son of alias Mag. To the NPAs, stop manipulating children to further your wicked programs. )
