STA ANA, Cagayan, March 6 (PIA)--Naval Forces Northern Luzon, Marine Battalion Landing Team-10, in partnership with Pugad Lawin Tuguegarao Chapter-Region 2, conducted a gift-giving activity at Palaui Elementary School and PAG-ASACA, a school for Indigenous Peoples both located in Sta. Ana, Cagayan on March 02, 2020.

Various social services such as medical and dental mission, haircut, gift-giving of school supplies, slippers, and vitamins were rendered to the people of Cagayan.

A total of 150 individuals benefitted from the event, 118 elementary pupils from Palaui Elementary School and 32 Agtas (Aetas) from PAG ASACA.

According to Major Carlo Bubuli, Naval Base Commander of Naval Base Camilo Osias, Sta. Ana Cagayan, this undertaking is a continuation of their Community Relation Activities in partnership with Pugad Lawin Tuguegarao Chapter, Dr. Leon Caculitan, and other stakeholders to further reach out to the populace and provide basic social services to those in need.

Naval Forces Northern Luzon Commander, Commodore Caesar Bernard N Valencia, said aside from their mandate to protect the sovereign territory, NFNL seeks to provide support in the development of the well-being and welfare of our fellow Filipinos.

"We are always willing to work with other stakeholders in order to provide basic social services to those people who really need it even if they are in hard to reach areas,” Valencia added.
