SIATON, Negros Oriental – LTC RAMIR J REDOSENDO INF (GSC) PA, Commanding officer of 11th Infantry (Lapu-Lapu) Battalion, coordinated with different Local Chief Executives, Vice-Mayor, Chief of Police, and Municipal/City Health Officers in the Province of Negros Oriental to discuss the stringent measures being implemented by different Local Chief Executives in their respective communities to contain the spread of Corona Virus Disease commonly known as COVID-19. It also aims to enhance further the coordination and collaboration between different Inter-Agency Task Force members who are at the forefront in the fight against COVID-19.

LTC REDOSENDO also stressed to the LCEs the importance of Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) for Frontliners and strict implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout the duration of General Community Quarantine in the entire Province of Negros Oriental.

The 11th Infantry (Lapu-Lapu) Battalion, as one of the Frontliners of the Inter-Agency Task Force responsible in COVID-19 Border Control Points in the Province of Negros Oriental, fully supports the ordinances being implemented by different cities and municipalities within the province.

“We want to let them know that the 11th Infantry (Lapu-Lapu) Battalion is always here to give full assistance and cooperation to the community,” LTC REDOSENDO said.

LTC REDOSENDO also reverberated the call for everyone to cooperate and follow the adhering guidelines and safety reminders of Health officials and local government to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the province.
