ILIGAN - Soldiers belonging to the First Infantry Tabak Division (1ID) have created a disinfection team, and have started to call themselves “D-Men”.

D-Men or short for Disinfection Men are clad in improvised face shields, boots and gloves, and equipped with sprayers, have been doing the rounds of this city disinfecting everything that could be considered as areas where the coronavirus could be.
“The D-Men are the mobile, and ready-to-serve team of the Tabak Division,” said Lt. Col. John Andrada, commander of the 1st Civil Military Operations Battalion.
Andrada said the division was also grateful to the private company which provided them with the sprayers so that the D-Men could go about their disinfecting rounds.

“We are also thankful for the Pagadian Marvelous Enterprise for the six pieces of sprayers that were given to us free”, Andrada said.
The disinfectant solution was approved by the doctors of 1ID, and its formulation followed Department of Health (DOH) guidelines.
