CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao – The joint government troops of 37th Infantry Battalion, PNP Sultan Kudarat and Kalamansig Municipal Police has arrested the top 3 most wanted fugitive of Sultan Kudarat province yesterday, October 14, 2019.

Fugitive Gina Ciano was arrested at around 6:30 a.m. at Barangay Sangay in Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat.

Ciano was wanted for a crime of murder and 9 counts of frustrated murder with criminal case numbers 3912 to 3921 filed last August 2017. She also had a bounty of P200,000.00 and was listed as top 3 most wanted of Sultan Kudarat.

The suspect is also believed to be a member of Center for Lumad Advocacy Networking Services (CLANS), White Area Committee, Guerilla Front 73, Far South Mindanao Regional Committee.

Joint Task Force Central Commander, Maj. Gen. Diosdado C. Carreon, commended the troops for their successful operation.

The arresting troops turned over the suspect to Sultan Kudarat Police Provincial Office for proper disposition.
