Two of the outstanding generals of the Armed Forces of the Philippines visited the Western Mindanao Command yesterday (October 17).
Brig. Gen. Arnulfo Marcelo, Jr., commander of the 2nd Infantry Division and Maj. Gen. Roberto Ancan, concurrent commander of the 1st Infantry Division and Joint Task Force ZamPelan were welcomed by WestMinCom Deputy Commander for Operation Brig. Gen. Generoso Ponio during their arrival.
Brig. Gen Marcelo will grace the anniversary celebration of the 68th Infantry Battalion in Basilan while Maj. Gen. Ancan will attend the culminating activity of the Battalion Commanders’ Symposium held in this command.
The two were received by WestMinCom Commander Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana at the Laong-Laan Hall of the command during their courtesy call.
