Two senior officials were included in the latest reshuffle at the Philippine National Police (PNP) which took effect on Wednesday.
This came after PNP Officer-in-Charge, Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa, approved the designation of Brig. Gen. Rolando Anduyan as Acting Regional Director of Police Regional Office 10, replacing Brig. Gen. Rafael Santiago.
Brig. Gen. Ronaldo Genaro Evangelista Ylagan is designated as Acting District Director of the Northern Police District replacing Anduyan.
Gamboa also installed Col. Danilo Pepino Macerin as Acting Chief Regional Staff of the National Capital Region Police Office.
Earlier, Gamboa said the latest rounds of reorganization occupying key positions are part of the continuing reform under his watch as the Officer-in-Charge of the PNP.
“This move sustains our campaign to reform the entire organization, as well as our drive against illegal drugs, criminality, and lawless violence,” Gamboa said.
