GINGOOG CITY, Misamis Oriental, Sept. 26 (PIA)--Boosting government programs and services in Barangay Eureka, here, the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental held the Launching/Activation of the Misamis Oriental Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict in Operationalizing Executive Order 70 and Convergence Areas for Peace and Development (CAPDev) Program, September 26.

"Sa dugay nga panahon, usa nga hinungdan nga dili galambo ang nasod sa Pilipinas tungod kanunay nagkagidlay ug kanunay kita nagkagubot. Ang katuyuan karon, mga igsuon, mao nga unta niining gibuhat nga unang lakang sa gobyerno inyo untang mabati, inyo untang matilawan nga maundang na ang pagpatay sa Pilipino batok sa Pilipino," Provincial Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano said. 


Provincial Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano urges national line agencies to habitually provide the services to fully realize the goals of President Rodrigo Duterte to end local communist armed conflict throughout the country.

(For a very long time, one of the reasons why the Philippines does not progress is the continuous chaos and people do not live in harmony. The goal today, my siblings, is hopefully the first step of the government be felt and experience that moment where Filipinos will stop killing their fellows)

Also participated in by various national line agencies, the event provided dental, medical, circumcision, legal, driver's licensing, barber, land titling, and farming and skills training services.

Livelihood cheques, tree, vegetable and fruit seedlings, volleyballs, basketballs, food packs, hygiene kits, books, toys, and other goods were also distributed in the barangay.

To further aid in the development of the area, the provincial government handed over P600,000 cheque to Barangay 10 for the improvement of line canal, P600,000 to Barangay Murallon for the construction of covered court phase 2, P300,000 to Barangay Ricoro for their water system.

Barangay Eureka received P600,000 for the construction of covered court phase 1, while Barangay 20 got P600,000 for the construction of covered court phase 1.


Provincial Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano hands over cheque amounting P600,000 to Barangay Murallon for the construction of covered court phase 2. The awarding of check is one of the highlights of the launching of the Misamis Oriental Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict. Governor Emano is assisted by Gingoog City Mayor Erick CaƱosa and Vice mayor Peter Unabia.

Twenty-three surrenderees from the area received a total of P1.551 million from the Department of the Interior and

Local Government (DILG)-10 under their Enhanced Comprehensive Livelihood and Integration Program (E-CLIP).

"Ang gibuhat karon sa armadong kusog sa nasod, sa kwerpo sa kapulisan, ang gibuhat sa buhatan sa nasyonal, sa inyong mayor, bise mayor, sa lalawigan sa Misamis Oriental nga ang gobyerno gipaduol sa katawhan labi na sa kabus sa Barangay Eureka," Emano said.

(What the armed forces of the country, police personnel, national government agencies, your mayor, vice mayor, Province of Misamis Oriental have done today is to bring the government closer to the people especially the marginalized people of Barangay Eureka)

Noting how such program will improve the lives of his constituents, Emano urged the national line agencies to habitually provide the services to fully realize the goals of President Rodrigo Duterte to end local communist armed conflict throughout the country. (PIA10)
