Teenage CPP-NPA Member Surrenders in Isabela

A 19 year old CPP-NPA member, identified as Junio Sagucio alias Ka Jay-Jay, surrendered to officers at Barangay Macalauat, Angadanan, Isabela last Friday, June 14.

“We are investigating the statement of Sagucio that a very influential politician and some prominent businessmen in Quirino province are providing the local CPP-NPA movement with financial and logistical support. He is now under police custody and undergoing custodial debriefing. He will be given the opportunity to avail of the government’s Enhanced-Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) which provides a package of benefits to CPP-NPA former members who have decided to return to the mainstream of the society after years of enduring the hard life in their jungle hideouts.”
