NSFA, Panacan, Davao City – Army Reserve Private Matteo Guidicelli visited Eastern Mindanao Command today, May 6, 2019, and meet the wounded soldiers presently confined at Camp Panacan Station Hospital.
Prior to this, he paid a courtesy call with Lt. Gen. Felimon T. Santos Jr., Commander of Eastern Mindanao Command, and met some of the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) students from different Schools in Davao City.
Meanwhile, Lt. Gen Santos expressed appreciation of Pvt Guidicelli’s gesture.
“We appreciate the gesture of Pvt Guidicelli. For us, it expresses his solidarity with soldiers, our ROTC Cadets and reservists being an Army Reservist himself,” he said.
“His visit will likewise provide him the opportunity to better understand the life of soldiers in combat, and will surely also boost the morale of our wounded soldiers whom he visited,” Lt Gen. Santos Jr.
