ROXAS CITY, Capiz -- The Philippine Army chief has lauded the troopers of the 3rd Infantry (Spearhead) Division for their effort in building lasting peace and progress.

Lieutenant General Macairog Alberto, commanding general of the Philippine Army, said the Division here led by 3ID commander Major General Dinoh Dolina has been a crucial instrument to the national effort in building lasting peace and progress in the area.

Alberto was the guest of honor and speaker during the 45th Founding Anniversary of the 3ID, Philippine Army, May 1, held at Camp Gen. Macario Peralta in Jamindan, Capiz.

He also commended the cooperation, strong support and partnership of the people of the Visayas in working together with the Army to attain the goal.

“To the valued stakeholders, we thank you for your continued support to the 3ID,” Alberto said.

Likewise, he congratulated the performers of the Spearhead to include the officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian workforce who have demonstrated excellence in the performance of their duties.

He also cited the stakeholders' exemplary contribution in all the undertakings of the 3ID especially in the quest towards the attainment of genuine peace and development in Central and Western Visayas.
