Brgy Cabingan, Marawi City, Lanao del Sur (Station) – The 12th Civil-Military Operations (Kapatiran) Battalion, CMO Regiment, Philippine Army headed by Lt. Colonel Andres A Soriano (INF) PA participated in at the recently conducted Medical, Dental and Circumcision Mission held at Sitio Kura-Kura, Brgy Tamparan, Munai, Lanao del Norte on May 4, 2019 which was facilitated by 4th Mechanized Infantry Battalion of 2 nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade, Philippine Army.

117 individuals mostly community children from Sitio Kura-Kura benefited the free medical, dental and circumcision mission while Hijab Troopers provided psychosocial intervention to Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF) children supervised by Major Arturo M. Dumalagan (INF) PA, Battalion Executive Officer, 12CMOBn.

Said activity was participated in also by Philippine Eagles (Maria Christina and Agad Agad) Club, DSWD 10, Army Warriors Angels, Navy Reservists of Iligan City and Amay Pacpac Medical Team headed by Mr. Rodrigo Rodriguez.

This activity will form part of the government Peace Building efforts tru confidence building activities between Government Forces and Bangsamoro Armed Forces.

This significant mission will build strong foundation to the Peace Building effort of the government as the community started to feel the government services delivered by the volunteers from different NGOs, LGUs and NSOs.

The BIAF communities from Sitio Kura-Kura, Barangay Tamparan, Munai, Lanao del Norte expresses their gratitude to the kind-hearted civilian volunteers and ever supportive government forces in the area.
