The 6th Infantry (Redskin) Battalion led by Lieutenant Colonel Clairemont Pinpin, in coordination with the local government unit and the PNP, facilitated the rido settlement between two warring clans in Balabagan, Lanao del Sur yesterday (April 6).
The formal settlement was held at the Municipal Hall of said municipality and was witnessed by Municipal Mayor Edna Ogka Benito.
“The absence of peace and order in the community is one of the reasons why the efforts of the government toward progress may be considered wanting,” Hon Benito said.
The 6th Infantry Battalion through the Bravo Company under 1st Lieutenant Elvis Dela Cruz recognizes the commitment and support of the Local Government Unit in the campaign towards peace and development in the said municipality.
The Redskin troopers continue to perform its mandate of providing internal security and establishing good relationship with the populace.
