BONGAO TAWI-TAWI- The United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP Tawi-Tawi Chapter and Provincial Political Committee of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) headed by Prof. Abdulla Ahang, UBJP Provincial Executive Officer in Tawi- Tawi are moving heaven and earth in their campaign for the ratification of Bangsamoro Organic Law.
Hadji Hasmin Hiya, Head of Tandubas Peace Advocates in Tawi-Tawi, and Tirso S. Tahir from Bangsamoro Leadership and Management Institute (BLMI), UBJP officers as well as Political Committee members conducted series of activities in the island villages.
On January 13, an information drive campaign for BOL was held at Covered court, Barangay Ambutong Sapal, Sibutu Municipality.

In his welcome message, Nami thanked the Sibutu LGU Barangay Officials and residents for the warm welcome, and full support to BOL. Members of the Philippine Marines and Philippines Air force were also present in the event and helped secured the event.
Another campaign for the Yes Vote to BOL was also held in Barangay Tandu Banak, Sibutu on January 14. It was organized by UBJP Municipal Executive Officer Mr. Sabana, and some members of SWC and line Agencies.
Saliakram Adduh, a Peace Advocate, and UBJP Officer explained BOL provisions on Justice System, Governance and the upcoming plebiscite.
Meanwhile, Tirso S. TahiR of Bangsamoro Leadership and Management Institute (BLMI) thoroughly explained the salient provisions of BOL, and a brief history of Bangsamoro struggle, how the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) came into existence and why it needs to be replaced with Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) or Republic Act No. 11054.
Tahir also underscored the significance of BOL and its advantages to Bangsamoro people. Some questions from curious audiences were also entertained to clarify some issues and concerns.
