ZAMBOANGA CITY. Bangsamoro Leadership and Management Institute (BLMI) hosted here a two-day Strategic Planning-Dialogue with the convergence of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) at Ever-O- Hotel, Zamboanga City.
The Strategic Planning as introduced and enlightened by BLMI Officer and Facilitator Kris T. Yano is aimed to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and Threatz (SWOT) of an organization.

BLMI Executive Director, Sheikh Mahmod S. Ahmad reminded the two Moro Front participants on the importance and value of unity and solidarity of Muslims by citing a verse from Noble Qur’an that explicitly says of non-distinction among races of mankind and no one differs to one another only in terms of piety and fear of God.

MILF Peace Implementing Panel Chair Mohagher Iqbal shared the current update on Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) particularly on the wrapped-up joint Committee report of the House of Representatives.

Iqbal also discussed about the adoption of Bangsamoro Transition Commission (BTC) draft BBL by the Committee level last April. He also elucidated what federalism is all about.

For his part, Iqbal’s Executive Assistant Atty. Haron Meling shared his view and supplemented the matters discussed by Iqbal.

The participants also engaged in group workshop which was the most important segment in dialogue and strategic planning by threshing out crucial issues and concerns of their respective provinces related to peace process and BBL.
