MARAWI CITY, Lanao Del Sur (DWDD) – These photos were taken during the graduation ceremony of the scout ranger, counter terrorism and special forces courses held in the main battle area of Marawi.
Lt. Gen Rolando Joselito Bautista, Commanding General of the Philippine Army, and Maj. Gen Danilo Pamonag, Special Operations Command (SOCOM) commander, both kneeled as they pinned the tab/badges for the fallen heroes.
“They deserved these badges. They sacrificed their lives just to save and liberate Marawi. Their gallantry will not be forgotten.” Said Gen Bautista. 1DPAO/MCAG
