DWDD: ASEAN NAVY | Phl vessels joins AMNEX 2017

CHUK SAMET PORT, Thailand (DWDD) – The Philippine Navy’s largest ship, BRP Tarlac (LD601) with AW 109 naval helicopter onboard, and Del Pilar-class Frigate, BRP Gregorio Del Pilar (FF15), is currently docked at Chuk Samet Port, Chonburi District, Thailand for the ten day-participation in the first Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Multilateral Naval Exercise (AMNEX) from November 13 to 22, 2017 in Sattahip and Pattaya Bay, Thailand.

The event is in conjunction with International Fleet Review hosted by the Royal Thai Navy.

The AMNEX 2017 is being participated by the navies of the 10 ASEAN countries and nine non-ASEAN countries. NPAO/MCAG
