From the Philippine Information Agency (May 9): Medical, dental missions help 336 clients
CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela, May 8 (PIA) – At least 336 residents of Marabulig and its nearby barangays benefitted from the free medical and dental missions recently led by the Philippine Air Force – Tactical Operations Group (PAF-TOG) – 2 and the 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army based in the province.
Air Force Lt. Col. Julius Nazi, PAF – TOG – 2 commander, said the city governments of Cauayan Ilagan, including the Bureau of Fire Protection, Association of Medical Doctors of Isabela and other partners in the province also shared their resources to reach out more residents who cannot afford to visit clinics and hospitals for regular check-ups.
Nazi said among the services extended to the villagers include the provision of free medical, eye and dental check-ups and medicines for the sick.
He said they will be conducting similar activity in other parts of the province through the help of various government agencies and private sector.
