DWDD–Camp Melchor Dela Cruz, Isabela- Pupils were teary eyed as they waved goodbye to the soldiers of 5th Infantry Division yesterday, November 24 after the conduct of Outreach Program at Camp Melchor Dela Cruz Elementary School. Yesterday, the PMA Sandigan Class of 1982 and Ladies in partnership with the Army’s 5th Infantry Division and LGU- Gamu conducted an Outreach Program in observance of the 23rd National Children’s Month.

550 pupils of Camp Melchor Dela Cruz Elementary School and Song-song Elementary School benefited from the free medical and dental services, supplementary feeding, and distribution of slippers and school supplies. Books were also donated to Camp Melchor Dela Cruz Elementary School.

“We are very glad and grateful that our school was chosen as one of the recipients of this activity. This is the first time that such activity is being conducted in our school’, says Mrs Angelica Uy, the principal of Camp Melchor Dela Cruz Elementary School. “Masayang masaya po kami at nagpapasalamat ng lubos sa mga sundalo ng 5th Infantry Division at sa PMA Class 82 Ladies. Bilib na bilib po kami sa mga sundalo dahil ang babait nila”, Andrei Maravilla, a Grade 6 pupil of Camp Melchor Dela Cruz Elementary School said. (We are all happy and thankful to the soldiers of 5th Infantry Division and to PMA Class 82 Ladies. We admire them because they are very kind)
