Philippine National Police Board of Inquiry head and PNP-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group chief Director Benjamin Magalong confirms that one of the sixteen firearms returned by the Moro Islamic Liberation Front was the assault rifle issued to PO1 Joseph Sagonoy.

PO1 Sagonoy was the SAF trooper shown in the viral Mamasapano ‘massacre’ video. This strongly suggests that the person who did the brutal execution of Sagonoy is a member of MILF.

“The Mamasapano tragedy is clearly a massacre, and not a misencounter,” Senator Chiz Escudero said. “Stop calling the Mamasapano tragedy a misencounter, as it is now clear that it was a massacre as revealed by the gruesome video showing how the SAF officers were brutally executed by armed men.”
